Caelen
Remade by Omnè Astral experimentation, Caelen are cyborg beings of precision and calculation. They run on machine logic where flesh once guided them, and do not tire or forget. The Caelen were taken prisoner by the Omné Astral from their home planet, Corpus Caeleste. Large in comparison to other standard sized races, and although intelligent , the Astral in sheer numbers was too much for them to bear. Used as experiments, the Astral grafted their bodies with sockets they later added attachments to. The Omné didn't want to practice this technique on their own people, but “criminals” of Omnè descent also underwent these experiments. The project, called “Bioforge Phase I: Commencing” never made it to Phase 2 because the Caelen became too strong, revolted and made their way back home where they themselves continued, not grafting, but engineering powerful attachments as their weapons and armor. Count in another strong enemy for the Omné Astral.
