Assess into a role to unlock what it can do, or skip straight in as a Civilian. Your Basic Member status is the same either way.
Who Can Join: Any assessed Player can join open Lobbies. Civilians must complete the Role Assessment first — there's no getting into a Lobby without it.
Who Can Create: Creating a Lobby requires a passing GM assessment and a valid SORC box set code. Admins and Owners can create without a code.
Lobbies vs. Rooms: Lobbies are recruiting hubs — text chat and party assembly only. Private Campaign Rooms are launched from a Lobby by the GM, and include voice, dice, and full session tools.
Whatever you assess into, you're already a Basic Member — Civilians get that status too, free digital rules, and a downloadable character sheet, same as Players and GMs.
